Teaching & Education Pathway Course Guide
One of the main projects that I started at Shikellamy High School during the 2023-24 school-year was the Vocational 399 Teaching and Education student pathway program. Several leadership aspects included was collaboration with staff, other neighboring districts, the Pennsylvania Department of Education to seek successful approval, and recreating the master schedule to fit designated hours. I also hosted parent, student, and occupational advisory committee meetings throughout the school year. This program will help with recruiting, training and retaining potential professional teaching staff to the Shikellamy School District.
One of the biggest pieces to this project was the implementation and building of the CTE360 Online Tracking Program. For this project I had to work with many different people to connect all the required pieces to make the program work for our staff. I can speak more to this project.
